Maple Youth Services partners with EASt ARM

In a powerful initiative aimed at transforming the educational prospects of at-risk youth, Ask EASt and Maple Youth Services (MYS) have forged a strategic partnership to address the foundational literacy and numeracy needs of vulnerable students. This collaboration brings together the expertise of EASt ARM, Ask EASt’s dedicated At-Risk Mentoring division, renowned for its innovative at-risk mentoring and tutoring approach, and the dedication of MYS to empower at-risk youth with essential academic skills to deliver a bespoke Immediate Impact Program (IIP).

The partnership is centred around the recognition that a solid educational foundation in literacy and numeracy is pivotal for at-risk youth, who often face unique challenges on their educational journey. By addressing these foundational skills, Ask EASt and MYS are equipping students with the tools they need to succeed academically, and in life.

With its personalised approach to tutoring, EASt ARM plays a vital role in this partnership. Through tailored assessments, engaging learning materials, and targeted skill development strategies, EASt ARM’s Immediate Impact Program (IIP) uplifts academic performance and addresses socio-emotional well-being, while alleviating the added academic pressure on students and those who support at-risk youth. This individualised attention considers the student’s personality and circumstances to enable students to progress at their own pace, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. This isn’t easy to achieve in the best of circumstances, which is why Ask EASt has forged a reputation for their transformative results.

“Our collaboration with Maple Youth Services is a testament to our shared commitment to empowering at-risk youth,” said Tina, Founder of Ask EASt. “By addressing the literacy and numeracy needs of these students, we aim to build strong foundations that positively impact their academic performance, self-confidence, wellbeing and future opportunities. Everyone is capable of learning, and these children are vulnerable. They deserve unwavering support so they can rise above their circumstances”.

Maple Youth Services, celebrated for their dedication to supporting at-risk youth, identifes the students with unique challenges that would benefit from the partnership and ensures that the collaboration reaches those who need it most.

“We are excited to partner with Ask EASt in this transformative endeavour,” said Bilal Darwich, Managing Director of Maple Youth Services. “Together, we are creating an environment that fosters a love for learning, builds self-confidence, and expands opportunities for at-risk youth.”

The partnership between Ask EASt and Maple Youth Services exemplifies the profound impact that collaboration and targeted support can have on the lives of at-risk youth. EASt ARM is where critical care meets academia for at-risk youth and the unsung heroes who support them. By addressing foundational literacy and numeracy needs, and developing creative, critical and reflective thinking, the collaboration not only boosts academic performance but also empowers students with skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.
